Life update, with bonus fic
Aug. 6th, 2010 01:33 pmSo, in the past week, I became the proud owner of a sewing machine, went to the Cape (I agree with
bibliothekara , Tiniest Cousin is amazingly cute), finished up my volunteer job at the preschool (all the students of which give Tiniest Cousin stiff competition), and invited some of the other volunteers over to swim (which went pretty well, although there wasn't much swimming).
I also finally wrote out the fic that's been bouncing around my brain for a month. I think my Muse is just messing with me at this point. Here follows an Invisible Cities/S. J. Tucker crossover fanfiction. I have no idea how to do a disclaimer for a fic without characters, so, um: This writing style is not mine, it belongs to Italo Calvino. The idea came from the song We Are Shangri-La by S. J. Tucker. I have not read Palimpsest (yet) so any similarities to that are coincidence.
Title: Shangri-La
Rating: G
Word Count: 481
( Throughout all the civilized lands, tales are told of Linnea. )
